Whats in a nickname??
I have many nicknames..
including: Kamika, Kamster, Hamster, Kam, Iguana Eyes(long story)
and newly developed, "mother."
When my friends first started calling me mother i thought of
Hillary Bennett.
Her nickname "mother" was cause she loved kids, and was so motherly towards everyone.
Mines not quite the same reason.
I was very first called mother by Josh and Zach.
We were all playing over at my friend, Kylee's house.
everyone was hungry. so i cooked for all, served and cleaned too.
They told me I was quite motherly. especially at that moment. but other times too.
I just rolled my eyes and giggled.
every-now and then randoms at school will call me mother.
takes me a moment. but I respond.
well fellow readers.
at dance a few weeks ago. Girls walked into rehearsal.. Talking *gasp*
so I announced "Ladies be quite, stretch and work on something"
I am kinda known as the 'shush-er' or to tell others to start working and stop talking.
when I told everyone to stop talking one girl said "okay mother."
it kinda has stuck. at the studio too.
